Created attachment 135475 [details] log of plasmashell SUMMARY Sometimes after booting the battery indicator is just not there. It's not hidden in the overflow menu, no - it's just gone until I run `plasmashell --replace`. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Boot laptop 2. Obverse missing battery applet Happens about twice a week or after ~10-20 reboots, not sure if it can be 'provoked' to happen. upower does not seem to report anything out of the ordinary: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/mYDhymnqNr/ In this particular instance it may only have happened after waking from hibernate (if relevant for the log), I can't say. (In reply to Méven Car from comment #1) > > *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 350365 *** I am pretty sure this is not a duplicate because the other bug says that no battery was detected while here the whole applet is gone (not hidden).
Fair enough

Same issue for me. I have to run 'plasmashell --replace' to get it back, but it will disappear again as soon as I reboot.
