SUMMARY Hi, I want to see my current network up/down activity as text (something like 5 Mb/s down, 20 Kb/s up). Luckily there is a widget called "System monitor Sensor". It does exactly what I need. I just put it on the desktop and set it to text only mode. It looks fine there: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-desktop/uploads/c3f52c38887a41fdbc181d1850846f2b/image.png However I want to see this information also while running maximized windows. So I put the widget in my panel at the top of the screen so that is is always visible. I also set it to display text only. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add the widget "System monitor Sensor" configured to display network activity on a panel 2. Change the display type to text only OBSERVED RESULT This is what it looks like, not displaying any text, looking broken: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-desktop/uploads/34eeabad6056af714f9f3bfa78189e63/image.png EXPECTED RESULT And this is how I imagine it should look like: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-desktop/uploads/b0ba9fd6e118c2a454ccbe00d30c432e/image.png SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro / Plasma 5.20.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.79.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Here is a video of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pS9qNQOzNh0
This should finally be fully fixed in Plasma 6.2.0.
