SUMMARY When I try to render the animation, it takes about 60 seconds to save the frames, but when I reach the encoding step, it merely disappears after just displaying 0%. My animation's GB is 4.1, and it keeps saying Memory Limit Reached but is there a way to separate the videos so I can just put them back together on a different software? I tried putting the videos into png. format but that didn't work either. Thanks for reading this. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3. Maybe just try to render it as image sequence? And then you can render first 0-99 frames, then 100-199, then 200-299 etc. You can also increase the swap file size in Configure Krita -> Performance. You can also try to actually *lower* the RAM limit for Krita - not sure if it helps, but I think it helped me once (but for that, your swap file size must be very big).
Created attachment 135381 [details] attachment-12823-0.html hmm, doesn't seem to work. It still stops once it's finished "encoding frames" On Mon, Feb 1, 2021 at 3:20 PM Tiar <bugzilla_noreply@kde.org> wrote: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=432402 > > Tiar <tamtamy.tymona@gmail.com> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Status|REPORTED |NEEDSINFO > CC| |tamtamy.tymona@gmail.com > Resolution|--- |WAITINGFORINFO > Severity|major |normal > > --- Comment #1 from Tiar <tamtamy.tymona@gmail.com> --- > Maybe just try to render it as image sequence? What is the path to ffmpeg that you gave Krita? (Also please either remove all previous content when answering by e-mail (don't quote) or just go to the website to answer, otherwise there is just so much junk sent to the website...)

Hey, but you're supposed to give the information one is asking you first, and then change the status ;) I asked: > What is the path to ffmpeg that you gave Krita? > (Also please either remove all previous content when answering by e-mail (don't quote) or just go to the website to answer, otherwise there is just so much junk sent to the website...)
> What is the path to ffmpeg that you gave Krita? I directed the animation to downloads. I realized that the reason it didn't appear anywhere in my files was because I didn't render the animation to any place in my files so it just disappeared. But I was able to resolve the issue now.
Okay, then I guess we can close the bug?
