Open Discover Update tab when new updates are found 2. Click Update All OBSERVED RESULT Password prompt pops up and disappears immediately, checking for updates is triggered EXPECTED RESULT Password prompt pops up, after entering password Discover starts downloading updates SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Ubuntu 21.04 development branch KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.78.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2
Well that's weird.
This was run in VirtualBox. Also, Ubuntu was updated to development branch from 20.10 release. So maybe something went wrong because of that.
Was this using a live user or a non-admin user account? Does it reproduce in the released version of Kubuntu 20.10?
