open the new kickoff menu and press the alt key.

Alt+e should switch to places - this does not happen.

Alt+l should sleep - this does not happen.

etc.

strangely, after rebooting pressing alt now shows the shortcut for sleep as alt+S. This now works. My localization is United Kingdom.

Places and applications still do not work.

I use custom shortcuts for specific words in my work, like emails, usernames and other things. Last days, using by example Win+V to get the word "vmorenomarin", the trigger only returns "morenomarin", opens the launcher and blocks the window until press the Win key.

Checked again and Sleep is back to Alt+l again -- this keyboard shortcut does not do anything either.

This is fixed in the Plasma 5.23 code rewrite.
