STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. boot your machine 2. start Wayland session 3. set display scale to 125% in Display Configuration KCM 4. reboot 5. start X11 session 6. set display scale to 125% in Display Configuration KCM 7. reboot 8. start Wayland session 9. open Dolphin: noitce that Dolphin window is not scaled as it should 10. open Display Configuration KCM: scale factor is still set to 125% despite it is not working EXPECTED RESULT display scale factor set in Display Configuration KCM should always work on Wayland session SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.78.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2
Can reproduce. You need to apply the scale factor a second time once you're in the Wayland session.
