badly rendered fonts

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start X11 session
2. set display scale to 125% in Display Configuration KCM
3. restart X11 session
4. launch standalone "General Behavior" KCM running "kcmshell5 kcm_workspace" in Konsole

OBSERVED RESULT
Fonts of "Display visual feedback for status changes" option are badly rendered, but they
are fixed if I resize the KCM vertically. Compare the attached screenshots please.

EXPECTED RESULT
always good font rendering

Seeing better, fonts of other options are also affected.
But the problem is more noticeable with "Display visual feedback for status changes" option.
