Description omarghassanabuamara1234@gmail.com 2021-01-23 13:20:29 UTC
SUMMARY

As the title says, choosing icon view for system settings doesn't activate
the search bar after starting the application as it behaves in sidebar
view. In other words, I cannot search for a setting directly after opening
system settings without having to click the search bar first. That
behaviour isn't consistent with sidebar view behaviour.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.Launch System Settings
2.Switch to icon view from configure option
3.Close System Settings
4.Launch system settings again

OBSERVED RESULT
Search bar isn't activated by automatically.

EXPECTED RESULT
Search bar should be activated.
