SUMMARY When importing a video without any effects added an jumping to a point near the end audio playback distorts audio track. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Import clip 2. Place clip in timeline 3. Jump to a point near the end 4. Hit play in the porject monitor OBSERVED RESULT Audio is very distorted and does not align with the video. Video display is stuck at some point in the project. Usually at the point where the cursor was placed the first time after import. EXPECTED RESULT Smooth playback with correct audio and video. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 20H2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This bug persists also with version 20.08.3. To add a little bit of information: The file has two audio tracks and is encoded with H265 with constant bitrate of 12000kbit/s.
How long is this video clip? 30 minutes? Which size? HD, 4K?
The file has around 9GB and is recorded in FHD. The clip duration is roughly 1h 30min.
This is a very big file! Can you try to use proxies and set the monitor resolution to a lower value to see if it improves? Please test using the latest AppImage.

Yes, the behaviour is the same. Although I have not tested it with the rendered output. For me it only occurs with clips that have multiple audio tracks.
