SUMMARY I like the new Kickoff but I think there is some issue with the favorites. By default, "switch tabs on hover" is enabled and I find myself switching to Places tabs by mistake when moving the mouse to items at the end of the favorite list. I kind of solve this by disabling that option. But still, some times, if I don't move the mouse fast enough, I open by mistake a application category before reaching the favorites part. I couldn't find an easy way to fix that. Maybe it would be possible to include another option to disable the "change on hover" within a tab? Confirmed; this happens to me too, periodically. IMO this option should be off by default. It is inherited from the old Kickoff where I think it made more sense to have on by default, but with the new one, less so.
If other people complain this week, then sure
To be fair, someone (Kai) already did last week or so. :)

yep got another bug report should probably change the default (by creating a new config value since UX is so different the old setting doesn't really apply)
