The search box aligned with the app-hover-state rectangle.

lol, confirmed.

This is probably caused by the built-in padding around the edge of the search field that houses the hidden focus ring. So it's not strictly speaking a new-kickoff-specific issue.

Well we can't *really* align search field and grid since the latter is dynamically calculated which is pretty important considering that font size/ppi differs wildly and we might want to change the size anyway

I installed the latest Neon release (neon-user-20210217-1639) and this issue insn't happening here anymore.
