Please go to Configure Krita -> Display, change the Renderer if you can, and restart Krita. Also please specify which version of Krita are you using and on which OS?

The version is 4.1.7.101 and the OS is Debian GNU/Linux 10. I wasn't able to change the Renderer
Then please update to 4.4.2, which was released yesterday. We cannot investigate bugs in a version of krita that's that old. If Debian has no newer version, please use the appimage you can download from krita.org.
