SUMMARY

KDE Connect crashes (a segmentation fault happens) when using the pointer function for a presentation (it does not matter if a presentation is running or not).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Pair a device.
2. Use the pointer on the paired device.

OBSERVED RESULT
Segmentation fault, KDE Connect crashes.

EXPECTED RESULT
A pointer on the screen to appear.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 20.04
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0

I tried it again. It does matter if a presentation is running or not. It will only crash if a presentation is running.

Can you please check whether the qml-module-qtquick-particles2 package is installed?
