Description jck@knoxdigital.com 2021-01-15 21:26:50 UTC
SUMMARY

Batch Queue Manager in 7.2.0-beta2 saves working/temp files in the actual target album directory, but stores the resultant files of the batch one level up.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a queue and add some images for processing
2. Select a target album
3. Process the images

OBSERVED RESULT

If the target album is D:\Photos\converted, then the BatchTool-blah.jpg images are created and deleted from this folder, but the final post-processed images land in D:\Photos

Yes, unfortunately this bug had slipped into Beta2 through a small, insignificant change and was noticed too late. The problem has already been resolved, use the digiKam-7.2.0-RC from here: https://files.kde.org/digikam/
