Description Andre 2021-01-14 22:43:15 UTC
SUMMARY

Tags are not written to secondary pictures if grouped by name

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
0a. Config/Misc/Grouping all set to Yes/Ask (no matter)
0b. Config/Metadata/Behaviour/...write metadata to RAW... set ON
1. Select Folder with e.g. jpg and raw (e.g. cr2) photos
2. Select all
3. Right mouse button, group/group selected by filename
4. Select one group of two pictures
5. Set/add any tag on selected group in tags window
6. Click apply
7. Right mouse button, group/ungroup selected

OBSERVED RESULT
Tags on topmost photo set (jpg), tags on underlying photo (cr2) NOT SET/CHANGED.
If you just select 2 photos without grouping, tags are changed on both/all selected.

EXPECTED RESULT
Changing/setting tags is done synchronously in grouped pictures

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: Win 10
Qt Version: 5.15.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Works as expected in Version 6.4.0
