Description Linus Kardell 2021-01-14 08:20:55 UTC
SUMMARY
Panel menus, (e.g. kickoff menu, extended systray, notifications list, updater applet) closes as soon as they lose focus. This works fine when using "Click for focus", but if you use "Focus follows mouse", this means the menus are closed just by moving the mouse pointer outside them. They should only close when clicking outside them (similar to how hovering over a window moves the focus to it, but you have to click it to move it to the foreground).

These applets close when they lose focus, which means using focus-follows-mouse causes this behavior. Mouse the mouse outside the popup -> it loses focus -> it closes.

This is a tricky problem to solve.
