SUMMARY SVCD (interlaced 45) Rendering using Movit produces horizontaly-squished video. Graphics card "Intel Xeon E3-1200 v3/4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics" (i do not believe this is relevant, it converted ok, just the video was taller than it is wide). (Maybe the pixel-aspect-ratio?) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have "Use GPU processing" activated. 2. Import SVCD Video (interlaced) 3. render any format I tried: MP4, DivX, etc. Project-settings Format seems to have no effect. OBSERVED RESULT Video was about half as wide as it should have been. EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS OpenSuSE Xfce 4.14 ADDITIONAL ffprobe INFORMATION Input Stream #0:0[0x1e0]: Video: mpeg2video (Main), yuv420p(tv, fcc/bt470bg/bt470bg, top first), 480x576 [SAR 8:5 DAR 4:3], 25 fps, 25 tbr, 90k tbn, 50 tbc Input Stream #0:1[0x1c0]: Audio: mp2, 44100 Hz, stereo, s16p, 224 kb/s
Please try using the AppImage and let us know how it goes. (OpenSuse packages are VERY buggy.) Your project resolution matches your footage? Movit is rather experimental so don't expect much.
