What I mean is,that you can make a shortcut to mute your default mic for a specific application. So that it behaves similar to how you can mute specific applications in the task bar for output,so that you can click the mute button,so that it gets muted,that would be cool to be able to do this for mic input too. But also being able to make a shortcut for specific applications to do that.
You can mute microphone streams per applications in the systemsettings. What's the use case for a shortcut?

Shortcuts to mute individual applications seems pretty niche TBH. On a personal note, as a father with children doing remote school right now, I don't consider that use case to be super valid. :) ...Unless its a KDE-related Discord channel, of course! :D

Those Spying websites will hear your mic otherwise.
You would mute the microphone globally.

And also,controlling mic volumen for every app separately would be cool too.
