SUMMARY
Transparent content area in wayland session.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Login into plasma wayland session
2. Open any image with gwenview

OBSERVED RESULT
Content area of gwenview is transparent (shows the background located under the gwenview window)

EXPECTED RESULT
Show image in content area

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro 20.2.1 KDE
KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.77.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 620

I'm unable to reproduce this issue on 20.12.0 on my wayland laptop.

Can you try in a new user to see if it is configuration file related?

Also what settings are you using in Display and Monitor > Compositor?

Indeed, the problem was resolved after creating a new user. So the problem was in the outdated configuration.

Thanks, and I apologize for the issue.

My compositor configuration is:
- Scale method: Smooth
- Rendering backend: OpenGL 3.1
- Tearing prevention: Automatic
- Keep window thumbnails: Only for shown windows
