Spinning forever, lever loading the screenshot

Everything from git master. Screenshots in apps don;t load anymore for me. I just see busy spinners that spin forever. I've waited upwards of 20 minutes and they never load.

This affects all backends for me--PackageKit, Flatpak, Snap, and KNS.

screenshots load in the GHNS dialog, so the problem seems to be localized to Discover.

Just checked again and now they're all loading. :(

Will re-open if it happens again.

Stuck threads

As can be seen in the duped bug, it's happening again. :(

When this happens, Discover also fails to cleanly exit when closed. There are stuck threads. Attaching a backtrace of them.

Still seeing this on a regular basis.

Can you check that you're still getting this problem now taht we're not using KIO?
Also can you provide an app that reproduces this issue? it would help me test this.
Comment 7 Nate Graham 2021-09-27 16:21:29 UTC
I haven't seen this since the KIO dependency was removed, indeed!

FWIW when it happened, it affected all apps, not just a single ones or random ones; screenshots didn't load for *anything*.

Will re-open if it happens again.
