Description Martin Seidel 2021-01-08 12:10:23 UTC
SUMMARY

I have got about 12,000 mails in my local inbox (1.2 GB), stored on a SSD.
When I open one it takes about 30 seconds until it opens. (The message was something like waiting to receive the mail... ). Maybe I made a drag&drop mistake some months ago because suddenly I had duplicates of many mails. Unfortunately the aren't removed if I do a duplicate search.

This report is only a note for people who have the same problem, because even with reinstalling / reimporting I couldn't fix the problem so I moved to thunderbird.

please remove akonadi from kmail -> keep it simple ;)
Comment 3 Martin Seidel 2021-01-17 09:59:15 UTC
I fixed the issue by moving all local stored mails into the online mail box
