SUMMARY I have got about 12,000 mails in my local inbox (1.2 GB), stored on a SSD. When I open one it takes about 30 seconds until it opens. (The message was something like waiting to receive the mail... ). Maybe I made a drag&drop mistake some months ago because suddenly I had duplicates of many mails. Unfortunately the aren't removed if I do a duplicate search. This report is only a note for people who have the same problem, because even with reinstalling / reimporting I couldn't fix the problem so I moved to thunderbird. to the developer: please remove akonadi from kmail -> keep it simple ;)
I fixed the issue by moving all local stored mails into the online mail box
