SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. login
2. screen get panels swapped between screens or notifications appear on the wrong monitor

OBSERVED RESULT
notifications or panels appear on the wrong monitor (sometimes it login ok, sometimes swapped)

EXPECTED RESULT
notifications and panels to appear in the intended monitor

Can you clarify what "the intended monitor" is?

in the screen configuration options , you can select what monitor is considered as "primary". That monitor should display the incoming notification popups. My primary monitor also should display the panels I specifically add, and widgets to that panel. This bug mix everything between prinary and secondary monitor every 3 or 4 days, at login.

The primary monitor does not determine the notification placement. Notifications appear on the monitor where the panel with the notification applet is placed

I don't have notification applet on the second monitor, and they ayer appearing on that monitor. Also sometimes the background images get swapped.

I also tested placing notification applet on both monitor, and they keep randomly appearing on second monitor sometimes.

Can you still reproduce this issue in Plasma 6.3? A lot has changed since the issue was opened.
