SUMMARY Installed from the Microsoft Store, added a path to music files, it appears that Elisa scans but shows no song. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add path to Music Search Configuration. 2. Wait for scanning to finish and see no music. 3. Enable option "Force filesystem indexing". 4. No music files are found after scanning. OBSERVED RESULT No music files are located. EXPECTED RESULT See music files that I can play. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Windows 20H2 (OS Build 19042.685) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: 5.77.0 Qt Version: 5.15.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION My music is stored in OneDrive, so I thought that might be the cause of the issue. However, when moving some files to second drive outside the OneDrive folder, Elisa still does not show FLAC, MP3, or M4A files.
Thanks for your report. I have noticed that a few days ago and I am actively working on it. Hopefully a fix will be available soon.
A fixed version is being uploaded to Microsoft Store. You can also test the fixed version from the latest build from https://binary-factory.kde.org/view/Windows%2064-bit/job/Elisa_Release_win64/
Thank you for your quick response. Using 'elisa-20.12.0-634-windows-msvc2019_64-cl-sideload.appx' I can confirm that music is now recognized and added to the library and plays.
Thanks for the confirmation. The fixed version is still waiting in the upload queue of the Microsoft Store. I will close the bug once the fixed version is available.
The fixed version is now available from the store. Closing the bug.
