Created attachment 134510 [details] There is no Disabled option for method of IPv6 SUMMARY KDE networkmanager does not have the option "Disabled" for IPv6. But there is this option in Gnome networkmanager. We need KDE networkmanager to add this option that disables IPv6. Thanks! :) Forum: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=169460 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open System Settings -> Connections -> select any entry -> IPv6 -> Method 2. Change the method "Automatic" to "Disabled" but it does not exist. 3. "Ignored" is not like "Disabled", because "Ignored" can not disable IPv6. EXPECTED RESULT We need KDE networmanager to add "Disabled" in method. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: all KDE Plasma Version: all KDE Frameworks Version: all Qt Version: all

Did you test whether it works? Test IP URL: https://whatismyipaddress.com I am waiting for the release of the current KDE Plasma. Thank you! :)
I disabled IPv6 on one of my connections and I can see IPv6 address is not assigned so I assume it works.
Okay Thumbs up!

This bugfix or feature is important for OpenVPN. Because many famous VPN providers do not support IPv6 yet, they only offer IPv4. Please merge and update asap. Thanks :)
Would love to see this merged. So important to KDE.
Fixed by Jan Grulich with https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-nm/-/commit/d641f9b8bb234d226b35a29a74317267caf37654 in Plasma 5.23!
Okay, thank you. I am waiting for release of Plasma 5.23 in October. https://community.kde.org/Schedules/Plasma_5#Future_releases
