SUMMARY
The option is given to install Dell System Firmware Version 1.23.3. Upon supposed install and restart the update fails. This is for a latitude 7390 2 in 1 laptop. When checking Dells support site the latest BIOS version is 1.16. Also regardless of the update being available in the software center, it also shows up as having been installed already in the installed software section. Pics are provided.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Discover software center
2. Click Update and install firmware
3. Allow laptop to restart and be shown failed install message while still seeing the install as an option but also being shown it is listed in installed software list.

OBSERVED RESULT
Update fails

EXPECTED RESULT
Update completes or is at least removed after having been shown in the installed software

Can you clarify "Update fails"? How did it fail? What error message did it present? Was it Discover that showed the error, or did it happen during the boot-up process? Etc.
