The corrupt project file.

SUMMARY
I was working on a project for a while. Perf was slow, so I enabled proxy clip creation. In the clip tree, all the clip thumbnails turned white, and the proxy clip creation progress bars did not appear. I let it go for a few minutes, then saved the project, and closed kdenlive. When I restarted kdenlive and re-opened the project, I was presented with an error dialog:

    Problems found in your project file
    -----
    Project corrupted. Clip producer8 (4) not found in project bin.
    Project corrupted. Clip producer0 (8) not found in project bin.

When I dismissed the dialog, the clip tree was empty, and it seems my project has been wiped out. :'(

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
I don't know if I can reproduce the problem with a new project. But the bad/corrupted project file is attached to this bug, which I presume should be sufficient to diagnose.

OBSERVED RESULT
Project was wiped out: no clips in tree, or in timeline. :'(

EXPECTED RESULT
No error dialog, no project corruption.

Can you please check whether this issue still exists in the latest version 24.12.0?

If yes, please update this report to reflect the new version.

If it works now like you expect it would, you may change the status of this report to RESOLVED - FIXED.
