I would like to be able to filter by multiple file types. There is already bug 208605 to allow entering multiple filters (I am assuming something like "*.pdf,*.epub,*.doc"). I would prefer a simpler method for selecting file types as opposed to general search terms that works as follows: 1. User clicks a button. 2. A dialog is opened showing a list of all file types in the current directory along with a check box next to each type. 3. The user selects the check boxes for each file types he wants to filter on. 4. User clicks ok and only the selected file types are displayed.
