Description Nicolas Dietrich 2020-12-22 13:29:30 UTC
It'd be useful to directly set view options (e.g. "fit page" or "view mode -> facing pages" and alike) as command line options.

Use case:

I'm regularly opening different kinds of PDF documents from the command line, also many documents at once. After opening I need to manually set those view options on each of the documents - it'd be great to do this with a command line flag instead.

I'm aware of the fact that this would introduce quite a lot of new command line flags, but I don't think this would be much of an issue.

I don't know whether there are any standards in the KDE world which could be adopted. E.g. dolphin has a `--split` command line argument which makes dolphin start in split mode.

Thanks for considering!
