Every few days I have to manually widen the Date column, because it has shrunk enough that the dates of the e-mails don't fit. I just have figured out a way to "provoke" this in a matter of seconds. Just click alternatively between two folders: one of them must have enough messages to show the scroll bar on the right, the other one must have very few messages, so the scroll bar doesn't appear. Every time the scroll bar reappears, the Date column gets slightly narrower. Do it a few times, and your e-mail dates won't fit in the column. In the following post I'm attaching a video that shows just what I described: I'm jumping alternatively between two different folders, one of them with very few e-mails. See how the scrollbar appears and disappears. Around the 20 second mark, the Date column has shrunk enough that the 3 little dots ('...') show up in the longer dates. I can reproduce this on current master. This seems to occur at least with the column combinations: * Date + Most recent date * Date + Size * Most recent date + Size. Where the right one seems to expand slightly and "swallow" a bit of the left one. The message list theme is required to be Classic, as Smart does not have columns. It's more easily reproducible by using the default keyboard shortcuts for switching between folders (Ctrl+Left/Right).
