Created attachment 134148 [details] video showing the problem SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Connected to any WiFi hotspot that wasn't previously used. OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT Ask for the password only one time. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 20.10 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.74.0 Qt Version: 5.14.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
1. Are you using KWallet? 2. If so, is the password for your wallet identical to the password for your user account?
Well, it's a fresh install, I never used KWallet and I didn't change my user password yet after the installation.
Also, in the second password prompt, I have to type the WiFi hotspot password again. If I type my user password, I got an "incorrect password" warning.
Is KWallet disabled, or enabled but not set up yet?
It's a fresh install. I didn't touch KWallet yet.
Does it stop happening if you set up KWallet with a wallet password that's the same as your login password?
But I never used KWallet in this installation. It's using the same password, I guess. When I start Chromium at system startup, I don't get any popups asking me to unlock the wallet.
New information was added with comment 7; changing status for inspection.
I'm not having this bug anymore in 5.21.4.
Cool, thanks for the update!
