SUMMARY
Every time I connect my external display the compositor turns off. This problem has persisted for almost a year now.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect external monitor

OBSERVED RESULT
Compositor turns off and you have to press Alt+Shift+F12

EXPECTED RESULT
Compositor stays activated

This bug was reported against an outdated version of KWin. We have made many changes since the. 
If the issue persists in newer versions can you reopen the bug report updating the version number.
