Description Lorenz Hoffmann 2020-12-15 16:11:17 UTC
SUMMARY
Rate and delay sliders are slow and cannot be reset to default values

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Drag the slider with the mouse or scroll while the cursor is over the slider
2. Click the button "default values"

OBSERVED RESULT
The numbers change after a short time.
Clicking the button "default values" doesn't change the number in the sliders.

EXPECTED RESULT
Numbers should change immediately and clicking "default values" should reset rate and delay to default values

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.20.4, Kernel 5.9.11.3-MANJARO
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.76.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Before I observed this behavior, I switched the layout several times. I also cancelled the authentication with password after clicking apply.

Just to be more precise:

The reset and default buttons do reset the values, if the changes haven't been applied yet. However, they don't work if I
1. change the value
2. press "apply"
3. press "default values"
Comment 2 Lorenz Hoffmann 2021-05-17 11:02:30 UTC
I think that is comes from Manjaro and is not a part of KDE
