SUMMARY I think Okular's become more and more complete & good looking over time. The only thing I can't get over is the annotation icon / placeholder, the one you place on the document. It's ugly, according to me and I suspect many other people. May you redesign or substitute it with something better? The icon found in the annotation bar would already be an upgrade e.g. Also, it does mess up with shape / size when moved along multiple times, and this is annoying either. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Click on new annotation 2. See the aforementioned icon
Can you attach a screenshot of the exact icon you're talking about, just so I can be sure we're talking about the same thing?
