I found that the menu icon is not always showing despite the process being running.

This happens to me on every boot. To get the notification area icon I need to kill the indicator process then restart the app again.

Just compiled from source on Arch, same issue. What does the version field above relate to? Cos "kdeconnect-app -v" gives "kdeconnect.app 1.0".
