SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. search albums for person
2. while it still searches, give unidentified person a name
3. digikam crashes, when trying to open the app again, an error message appeares.. im not having the needed rights for the database.. CREATE TABLE right is missing.

   i am using SQLite, the one that has been preselected. at least thats
   what I think and whst wI intended to do.

With SQLite it is likely to be an external problem. Either the digikam4.db database file is write-protected or defective (hard disk has damaged sectors). Please activate the debug output and give us the log from the terminal as described here: https://www.digikam.org/contribute/

    I now restarted my computer and opened again. It worked.
   I can imagine it has something to do with file locking while it was
   trying to upload some digikam data to my cloud.
   I'll look into the debug output once I occur the same error again

Are you on Windows because of locked files? I would then close the bug report for the time being, you can open it again if the problem occurs again.
