Open recent files doesn't change directory of terminal


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kate
2. Open built-in terminal
3. Open recent file

OBSERVED RESULT
Terminal directory still at home

EXPECTED RESULT
Terminal should change directory to file directory

Hmm, I tried the current version (20.08) and for me, if terminal directory syncing is enabled in the config dialog, even open recent does the right thing.
Could you try a recent version?
