SUMMARY
Following Garuda demonstration video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lJt1FpVu0Q

the layout should switch to Garuda layout but it does not... 

maybe that user scenario should be fixed in the future.

the new approach of multiple layouts in settings window makes this solved.
