One of my favorite Kate features is its "Filter Through Command" action, which comes from a plugin that is enabled by default now. However in Kile, the katepart does not appear to have the action visible where it is in Kate: at the bottom of the Tools menu. And Kile's settings window has no interface for Kate's plugins.

It would be nice if this situation could be resolved so that the "Filter Through Command" action was usable from Kile.
