SUMMARY
Digikam can not find Gimp from Ubuntu 20.04.01 if the digikam is installed from Snap backage (and also Gimps is installed from snap). This may be part of Ubuntu /snap problem, but it seems as problem for digikam user.

The digikam from appimage can find the Gimp in same computer. Same error applies to other softwares (Rawtherapee, Darktable etc.)

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 20.04.1
Digikam 7.1.0 (also 7.0)

We don't support snap bundle. We already support AppImage and Flatpak. Please report this problem to Ubuntu team as DOWNSTREAM.
