SUMMARY
Kdenlive 20.08.3 installation does not properly make the shortcut for kdenlive.exe.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download Kdenlive 20.08.3 (https://download.kde.org/stable/kdenlive/20.08/windows/kdenlive-20.08.3.exe)
2. Install for just me
3. Run Kdenlive

OBSERVED RESULT
First obvious sign is when searching for Kdenlive in the Start menu, the Kdenlive program has a generic app icon. Clicking on it gives the prompt: Missing shortcut: Windows is searching kdenlive.exe. To locate the file yourself, click Browse.

EXPECTED RESULT
Installation should properly create and link shortcuts so that searching for Kdenlive should show the corresponding icon and clicking Kdenlive should directly open kdenlive.exe found in the bin folder.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10

TEMPORARY SOLUTION
Click on the Browse button, browse to C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\kdenlive\bin, and click kdenlive.exe.

Also, I installed Kdenlive 20.08.2 and it installed just fine. Shortcut works out of the box.
