SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Opensuse 15.2 KDE Plasma Version: 5.71.0-lp152.1.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.71.0-lp152.1.1 Qt Version: 5.12.7-lp152.2.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION kdenlive-20.12-beta-x86_64.appimage produces the same crash. kdenlive-20.08.2-x86_64.appimage is stable. kdenlive-20.08.1-x86_64.appimage is stable. However 20.08.1 and 20.08.2 shows the same error message but doesn't crash. Obviously there is no assert() in the code (debug version was published??).
Delete kdenlive-appimagerc: https://community.kde.org/Kdenlive/Configuration Version 20.08.3 has some issues. Please roll back to 20.08.2 https://download.kde.org/stable/kdenlive/20.08/linux/
Does it still happen with the latest version (at the moment 20.12.2 https://kdenlive.org/en/download/)?
