SUMMARY
It is not possible to activate/desactivate the port "Auto Search" from "Enabled" to "Disabled" (and vice versa) in version 3.5.0

OBSERVED RESULT
I tracked this bug back in version 3.4.0
No bug in version 3.3.9
The button "Refresh/Scan Ports" is also not functional

In complement to this report, the function :
MaxDome II/Options/Debug 
can't be disabled as well.

I can confirm this issue on Linux as well, even though I thought I fixed it for 3.5.0. For the time being, you can click on "tab" to cycle through the control and press "space" to activate any button. It's not convenient but it works unless I figure out why Qt layouts get messed up.

In modern KStars/INDI this is not an issue, please check.

In version 3.6.4 the "Auto Search" button IS FUNCTIONAL in the Focuser, Scope and Dome panels
