* Could you first test with the latest release of krita, 4.4.1?

* If that still shows the problme, could you please attach one of the files that make krita crash for you? Or make it available for download through a cloud service if it's too big.

Comment 6 Halla Rempt 2020-11-24 11:52:50 UTC
* Does this happen when you open an image with Krita from the finder, or when you open an image from within krita?

* Does this happen with all files you open with Krita, or with a specific file?
Comment 7 xelnagazchild 2020-11-24 12:04:24 UTC
* it happens specifically when i double clic a .kra file in the finder.

* I thought it happened specifically for some files; but apparently now all my files crash when i try opening through double clic. I can't remember the last time it didn't happen, sorry, it's a messy bug report....

Thanks for your patience! If it always happens when opening the file through finder, then it;s this issue: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=421448. Ivan is working on fixing the bug, but there are some issues with finding a correct solution.
