SUMMARY
Trying to add a gmail account with 2FA ... system uses remote socks server

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create google account with a valid proxy in the system network settings 
2. 
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
Browser opens (titled Google") to  accounts.google.com/oauth2/auth?clientid=... and a "No internet" message is returned
The following is also displayed on the web page ...

There is something wrong with the proxy server, or the address is incorrect.
Try:

Contacting the system admin
Checking the proxy address
ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED

Proxy works normally for all other applications

EXPECTED RESULT
Connection to the Google oauth2 system

Problem is with proxy setup in network settings ... operator error

Actually, the problem is that setting SOCKS proxy to IPv6 address fails
It is not a kmail2 problem but a system settings problem
