Description Nate Graham 2020-11-20 18:08:48 UTC
All KDE software from git master.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Log into the X11 session
2. Set scale factor to 200%
3. Log out
4. Log into the Wayland session

OBSERVED RESULT
Everything is tiny and rendered at 100% scale. The KScreen KCM does show 200% scale, but this is not reflected in the actual systemwide scale. If I change the scale to 200% while logged into the Wayland session and then log out and back in again, everything is scaled correctly.

EXPECTED RESULT
Scaling changed applied on X11 are applied to Wayland too without having to manually set the scale on Wayland.

Was that a clean config when you did that?

I strongly suspect you had previous wayland config files about.
Comment 2 Nate Graham 2020-12-01 23:55:43 UTC
Which config files would those be?
