Latte log

SUMMARY

I have been using Latte for a long time. But there is a problem recently.
I leave my computer in the office on all night. But almost every morning when I login I cannot find Latte on the screen. The application process is also lost. When I start Latte, the application is normal.

Unfortunately, I do not know how to find the application logs.
But I was able to find the entry in the system log, probably because of my problem.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Latte and leave the computer on for the whole night.

OBSERVED RESULT
In the morning at login - the latte is no longer running.

EXPECTED RESULT
Latte should keep working

Same problem here. Seems to happen short after resuming from suspend, or after changing monitor configuration/resolution.
Journalctl doesn't show anything, not even a crash report or the like.

Latte is soo cool, thanks for developing it!

Doesn't seem to happen when started with (-r) --debug.
I can provide a log (without "quitting" until now) if helpfull, but it contains too much private data, I'd have to clean that log beforehand.
Comment 3 Michail Vourlakos 2021-02-14 18:31:50 UTC
have you tried Latte git version to check if this is fixed?
Comment 4 Alex 2021-02-14 21:07:21 UTC
I have not seen any unexpected Latte shutdowns for a long time.
It seems the problem was solved in one of the updates.
At least in my case.
