SUMMARY
Okular highlights are not Gmail compatible (highlights are not visible in Gmail).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Highlight any PDF with Okular highlights.
2. Email Okular highlighted PDF using Gmail.
3. Open Email and highlights are not visible.

OBSERVED RESULT
Highlights are not visible in Gmail.

EXPECTED RESULT
Highlights should be visible in Gmail.

You'll have to explain me how that's an Okular bug and not a GMail bug. If the highlight works in Adobe Reader which is the defacto "this is right" renderer for PDF (and as far as i remember it does). GMail not rendering something is GMails bug.
