Description Andrew M 2020-11-16 06:34:35 UTC
SUMMARY
A "Show Navigation" menu entry to show/hide the Navigation panel is missing
from the Settings menu. If someone accidentally closes the Navigation panel,
they will not be able to find a way to bring it back in the most obvious place.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Close the Navigation panel
2. Pretend to be grandma using the computer
3. Try to bring it back

OBSERVED RESULT
Settings
[x] Show Toolbar
[x] Show Statusbar
[_] Show Text View

EXPECTED RESULT
Settings
[x] Show Toolbar
[x] Show Statusbar
[x] Show Navigation
[_] Show Text View

WORKAROUND
Luckily a non-obvious context menu that appears when right-clicking the menu
bar or Text View panel bar (if visible) has a Navigation panel tick-box.

Not sure I would consider this minor. Once the navigation window is gone there is no way to get it back.
