Description nyanpasu64 2020-11-15 19:17:41 UTC
SUMMARY
When I open System Settings to Display Configuration, pressing the Alt+A shortcut does not press the Apply button.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open System Settings and navigate to "Display Configuration", or run "kcmshell5 kcm_kscreen".
2. Change an option.
3. Press the Alt+A keys.

OBSERVED RESULT
The Apply button is highlighted.

EXPECTED RESULT
The Apply button is activated.

(Pressing Alt+A properly activates the button in Compositor and Cursors pages. I haven't tested other pages to see if they have this bug or not.)

Can confirm.
Comment 2 David Edmundson 2020-11-24 23:35:59 UTC
Because it goes to "Replica"

Kirigami's mnemonics detection don't sync up with the ones we have in the parent window, and shortcut detection goes to the most local.
Comment 3 Nate Graham 2021-08-29 16:55:06 UTC
Not specific to this KCM; it affects all QtQuick-based SystemSettings KCMs due to the very complex architecture of System Settings.
