When triggering Yakuake by ScrollLock keyboard shortcut it closes exactly two seconds after opening, or opens again two seconds after closing STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Setup ScrollLock as Global Shortcut for Open/Retract 2. Press ScrollLock 3. Watch Yakuake open/close and then close/open after 2 seconds This does not happen with the 'pause' key, or when opening yakuake from the tray. It also does not happen when using xdotool to simulate the key press, then it works normally (```xdotool key Scroll_Lock```) OBSERVED RESULT ScrollLock seems to be treated in a special way EXPECTED RESULT ScrollLock should not behave different from other keys and SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.75.0 Qt Version: 5.15.1 Kernel Version: 5.4.77-1-lts OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 8 × Intel Core Processor (Skylake, IBRS) Memory: 3.8 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: virgl I've moved this system into a vm because my laptop broke but it did not work before either.
Created attachment 133338 [details] Scrolllock is duplicated I have screenkey running on both the host and the guest I am not so sure what this is anymore, but I don't think is is related to yakuake anymore. Weird thing is, the host and the vm once were literally the same system - I made a copy and put it on my laptop. Now this bug from my laptop has followed me into the vm. Edit: I just tried usb pass-through with my keyboard and now it does not happen. But I also know it did happen normally on laptop. Maybe close this until I can gather more data
Something was very strange here, but I can not replicate this anymore as my new hardware is missing a scroll lock key.
Similar problem in Kubuntu. Another problem when you assign a shortcut for show/hide Yakuake like Ctrl + ~ 1. Open a browser window with any webpage, maximize it, 2. Show Yakuake by pressing [Ctrl] + [~] 3. Start scrolling through terminal in Yakuake 4. Move your mouse out of the Yakuake terminal, to be above other window, like browser window. You will see the browser window zoom changes, like if the [Ctrl] key was still pressed. The madness ends in about 2 seconds, or after you click(focus) the browser window. This is also true for other types of windows where Ctrl + scroll does something.
